Gĩathi kĩa Jesu gĩa gũcoka rĩngĩ,
Kĩrĩa atwirĩire agĩthiĩ matu-inĩ,
Akaiyĩra arĩa metĩkĩtie,
Agaikare nao mũciĩ wa igũrũ.

Matu-inĩ tũgathiĩ na Jesu,
Matu-inĩ tũgathiĩ nake,
Matu-inĩ tũgathiĩ na Jesu,
Twinake Jesu ndagatũtiga.

Wendo wa Jesu nĩ mũnene mũno,
Atwendire twĩ andũ athũku mũno,
Nĩwe mwega kũhĩtũka othe,
Jesu ekire ũndũ wa magegania.

Ahonoku othe arĩa a ma,
Makamuona Jesu Mũhonokia wao,
Arĩa othe matendaga mehia,
Nĩagathamaka thĩ-inĩ wa mĩoyo yao.

Ukai andũ othe mwĩtĩkie,
Jesu wamũkuĩrĩire mũtharaba-inĩ,
Nĩwe mwegaki kũhĩtũka othe
Jesu ekire ũndũ wa magegania.
